Bolton Industrial Fencing™ (B.I.F™) is a steel fencing, gate and on-site welding contractor working out of our works at Albion Street in Bury. We install, repair, move and maintain industrial and commercial fencing across Bolton, Bury, and the wider Greater Manchester area.
We are a small, hands-on outfit rather than a call centre. The person who quotes the job is the person who turns up to do it, which is why we are usually out on site — and why a text or an enquiry with photos will often get you an answer faster than a phone call.
Bolton Industrial Fencing™ is a division of Bury Fencing™.
Most of our work is for organisations that need a perimeter to actually hold: schools and colleges, local authorities including Bury Council and Bolton Council and their sub-divisions, warehouses and manufacturers, hospitals, sports grounds, garden centres, and commercial premises of every size.
That mix is why we do not stock one fence and sell it to everybody. A ball court needs twin-wire mesh; a scrap yard needs triple-point palisade; a primary school needs bow top railings that are safe to fall against. Alongside new installations we do a great deal of repair and maintenance work: vehicle damage, break-in damage, storm damage, gates that have dropped or seized, and fencing that simply needs moving to make room for something else.

Call, text, or send an enquiry with photos. Photos of the fence, the gate or the damage tell us more in ten seconds than a long description.
2. We advise and price it
We come back with what we would recommend and what it will cost. If a site visit is needed to measure or check ground conditions, we will arrange one.
3. We do the work
Fabrication, welding, concreting and paint finishing are done on site where the job calls for it, so the fence fits the ground rather than the other way round.
