Ecotec Filters in Walkden needed a proper vehicle entrance to the yard and a way of stopping vehicles reversing into a door. Both are small jobs on their own, and both are the kind of thing that gets put off until something is damaged.
We fitted a pair of double steel mesh gates to the entrance. Mesh keeps the yard visible from the road and from inside the building, which is usually what a working yard wants, while still giving a solid, lockable closure. A steel stopper post was set in front of the door to take a vehicle strike instead of the door frame.
Mesh double gates are hung on steel posts concreted in, with drop bolts to the ground so the pair locks together as one. They suit sites that want to see in and out rather than the solid look of palisade.
