Not all of our work is a perimeter. Inside a warehouse or factory the same steel goes into keeping people away from machinery and keeping fork trucks away from racking, walls and doors.
At Saraco in Farnworth we made and fitted custom steel machinery guard rails and a bespoke machinery safety protection barrier, plus steel barriers to protect the warehouse racking from impact. Each run was fabricated to the floor plan rather than assembled from a catalogue, so it sits where the risk actually is.
At a warehouse in Farnworth we fitted Armco barrier to protect walls from vehicle strikes and fork-truck protection barriers along the traffic routes.
Guard rail and barrier work is usually fitted around production, in the gaps between shifts or over a weekend, and bolted down to the slab so it can be moved if the layout changes later.
